28 West Monroe QB Kenny “Tre” King III and 27 West Monroe Safety Maddox Cobbs are there today. Tre measured 6’4” 235 with a 82 inch wingspan at Tech last week. Cobbs is NFL Safety Xavier Woods’ little brother. He and Tre are cousins.

Getting both these guys could return us to the type LSU defense we were spoiled with for years. You can build a damn good D around them. But if Brown stays on Oline, then let it be p&g.

Apparently QB Bryson Beaver is on campus right now. He is about to fly up the rankings after his elite 11 performance. He was a top 3 performer from all accounts. Buzz around him is that he will be a top 100 recruit when all is said and done.
Oregon offered him not that long ago, but they are hard after Lyons right now. So LSU might have a legit shot here.
