Watched him in the state title game vs North Shore. He looked massive and had two huge sacks if I remember.

No shite they are two different people. Just saying to not get too invested in recruits who are a year away.

If it’s “no shite”, then there’s no need to throw out the comparison. He can very well commit soon and hold or simply let it play out. No two recruits will be the same. Telling folk to “calm down” (because there’s a conversation on the recruiting board about a recruit and good speculation that he’s all LSU), doesn’t really add much to the chat. There will always be folk who freak out and those whom take it logically, it’s the internet.

i am happy he is LSU lean but lets see when Bama's and Texas's of the world come with life changing money
If he wants to be at LSU he will be at LSU and NIL wont stop that
LSU had a better deal for Ricks at the end but he wanted to be at Bama

So as soon as he commits he will become a 4 star…

All good brother, can’t say it’s a good feeling when LSU loses out on a recruit though, especially a highly coveted one. Still have that Ricks taste in our mouths but that’ll be his loss. At least under Kelly, there’s much better structure and a vision for the future, imagine O and the trajectory of LSU at that time didn’t help with Stewart, for example, but that’s just speculation on my end. Hopefully it’ll be the opposite for Simmons, but as you and I have mentioned, recruiting can be fickle, especially nowadays
