5 star cb Domani Jackson may be entering the portal.. do we go after him if he does ?

It very may not happen but apparently theirs rumors Domani may enter the portal. Now Ik we already added Denver Harris and another transfer Cb but Domani Jackson is a special athlete at corner who had an injury plagued freshmen year and has a moron of a dc in Alex grinch. Pairing Domani with Denver Harris would give us one of our most talented cb duos the program has ever had on paper. Do we try to bring him to Baton Rouge if he enters the portal ?

We recruited him while we were hot coming off a natty and yet weren’t even In his top group. Very little chance we’d land him.

If someone that good is entering portal it means he already has several suitors. Can LSU enter that picture? Yes but I'd have to think he's staying out west. Seems we'll go after Ohio State's CB then close the doors on it for now.

Yea I believe the OSU transfer has a position coach that works at LSU so we prob are the east favorites to land him but it’s rare corners with Domani’s are available in the portal I’m sure Oregon prob would be the front runner for him but BK needs to make a serious run regardless

It is ridiculous. It’s been bad for college football and it will get worse. If the NCAA would just get off their arse and come up with some structure that every school abides by they can do away with this madness.

Why would y’all want a defensive player from USC? This board has trained me to believe any defensive player that goes to a place like USC actually sucks and is scared of real competition.
Also, it’s funny reading comments on this board acting like Oregon is a trash school and just paying players to go there. Oregon had same amount of wins as LSU and have one of the best returning qb’s.
Also, the complaining about the portal is more out of control than the portal. One problem I see is why would young players stay when you bring in a bunch of portal guys at their position. Like, I could see Welch leaving with LSU bringing in a million portal cb’s.

Well this isn’t jus any portal cb this was the no.1 corner in his recruiting class outside of Travis hunter. He’s an absolute stud and would’ve had a good freshmen year if it wasn’t for injuries. It’s clear a player like him sees the defensive coaching at USC won’t help him reach his tremendous ceiling

BK is not going to get into a bidding war to get players.
If it`s all about money how dedicated will they be to your
team.Look at all that money did to A@M this past season.The
only reason some of them went there was to get a bag.
