Prior to Saban, folks like you said we would never win a national championship again. Just a year ago, some fans would have laughed if you suggested Orgeron would ever win a championship of any kind.
Just because some doubt doesn't mean crap.
If Brennan has a great career, we will be in every recruiting battle for the next great QB recruit.

5 up arrows and 22 down arrows!

Truth don’t agree with most folks.

I’ll double down on your comment and make another.

Little Arch will be in the Top 2 when he comes out and he won’t even give LSU a sniff even with Bobby Hebert talking it up for Cousin Ed

And you know how you can tell LSUStar and I am right. You will NEVER see Little Arch at an LSU Summer Camp. When that happens, you can serve us up a double dose of crow.

It hurts to lose a once-in-a-generation home grown Louisiana talent, but that’s just the way it is when you put a 63-17 beat down on a broken arm stump jumper like Archie Who

Blood is blood and hard feelings sometimes never die. Geaux Tigers!

Yeah and John Curtis hates LSU and would never send his kids to LSU.

not sure if you're talking about Arch here but he goes to Newman, not Curtis lol.

if you're not talking about Arch, and you're actually talking about John Curtis, then you mean JT Curtis. John Curtis is a school. John Curtis is also a politician from Utah.

Thanks CantGuaedJamarr. joebooty6000 might be right in the end about Arch not signing with LSU, but you showed that joebooty6000 can be wrong. That gives me hope, because now it looks like joebooty6000 was pulling that assessment out of his a$$.

Actually he wasn’t wrong. That was a high school 7v7 event held at LSU. Not a camp.

People on the radio get on me a little bit saying I kept my boys from going to LSU, and that wasn't true. I let my kids make their own decisions, didn't influence them. They both visited LSU and they went to games almost every Saturday night, almost every home game. "When Curley (Hallman) was there, Peyton was convinced Josh Booty was going to LSU and he wasn't going the same place Josh was going. Eli was the same way with Brock Berlin. Of course, he didn't. They made visits. It wasn't an anti-LSU thing at all. I've lived in New Orleans 44 years. I've lived in Louisiana a lot longer than I lived in Mississippi. I have great LSU friends. It's fun. I'm not an LSU hater. I'm a strong Southeastern Conference guy.

This was said by Archie. You obviously have some sort of disdain for the family so I doubt you’ll believe a word he says. He has said it multiple times though.

Do you know me? Do you know anything about how the Mannings feel about LSU?

They cannot think clearly. No way Arch will play at LSU. Too much history for that.

So you have a problem with him assuming he knows you, but you assume you know the Mannings? That makes no sense.

Archie is not going to say differently because his income would suffer if he said what he really feels about LSU.

After witnessing what this program achieved this past season, I'm not sure why anyone would assume he's considered off-limits. Let's just see what happens.

Gus made an intelligent post based off of facts, not his magic gut feelings, gossip or hearsay.
90% of posts made here are gut feelings and repeated gossip.

I have a question. How is this kid rated a 5 star when he can't be more than 15 or 16 and he was injured last year?

I know the history of the Mannings and LSU. That history makes the odds of Arch playing for LSU quite long. If I had to guess, I’d say Ole Miss. We’ll find out in a few years. My critic knows NOTHING about me as I am not a public figure.

Try again sometime Mr. Smarty Pants...

Cheers

Well just remember, that history was written by people who had their own opinions of the Mannings, good or bad. From what he said himself, LSU was in the final two for both Peyton and Eli. Is this true? Who knows, but that’s as good of a foretelling as anything.

I wish some of you dumbasses would just shut the hell up. Every thread that mentions Arch Manning has 18 people that come out of the woodwork spouting shite about how he won't come to LSU because Archie hates the Tigers and won't let his grandson come to school in Baton Rouge. Or he'll go play for fricking Duke and David Cutcliffe. A kid that could be one of the top recruits in the nation isn't going to go play for Duke (he might not be one of the top recruits, that is still to be determined.) I hate to tell you that if he's good enough to play for LSU that he won't be going to Duke. The truth is, none of yall know a damn thing about what Arch is going to do and yall keep parroting the same bullshite. "Archie can't stand LSU because LSU beat him with a broken arm 50 years ago!" Archie isn't making the decision for Arch. Shut the hell up and let people discuss the kid on the recruiting board without spouting the same shite that people say everytime his name is brought up.
