Sad that a school can just come in late and say “hey we have extra nil money” come play for us on the last minute

Derek asked for more money and we said no, now he's shopping. It's inevitable.
The kid has no ties to LSU or Louisiana, he's going to the highest bidder and we're not willing to pay. Time will tell if it's a mistake or not.

I really think the kid himself wanted(wants) to come to LSU but it was just too much local pressure. The parents can't pass up that kind of money & throw in all the we are only 30 minutes away. The kid knows his future prospects were better at LSU, he even said it very recently.

He can invest that money. Live off of $50k a month and still be worth north of $100M by the time he’s 60. And that’s if he never sees an NFL contract!

Las Vegas recruits never pan out. Their level of competition is insanely easy. Tate Martell for Ohio St or whatever his name is was from Vegas too. Just easy football that doesn't translate to SEC play. If we actually get him, that's great. I don't expect him to be a star unless he proves it.

He is not a 5 star and the word for about the last month is that he is not one that LSU is fighting to keep. Very poor senior season

Commitments to a school are useless now a days and a kids word means absolutely NOTHING!!!

Since it is widely known this kid is going elsewhere, why doesn’t LSU just pull his offer and announce they are looking for a WR lol
