Agreed but A&M has a few things going for them. First, last year was the best year they have had in 8 years and the most accomplished season they have had since they last won the Big 12. Second, they have beat LSU 2 of the last 3 years so when they go in living rooms there is something tangible to grab & discuss not just hopes & dreams.

We know better than anyone how quickly momentum can come and go for a program. This season will tell a lot about the future of both programs.

Give me a break. A&M got lucky last year. In fact, had LSU played Max Johnson, as opposed to TJ Finley, LSU would have beaten A&M easily last season. As A&M certainly wasn't worthy of going to the CFP.
Moreover, they haven't really beaten LSU 2 of he last 3 games. That's pure utter nonsense. Everyone who watches that 2018 game can see that A&M and the referees stole that game from LSU on at least four different occasions. I certainly don't consider that 2018 game a loss. If there is anyone who doesn't believe me, then I challenge them to go re-watch that 2018 game on YouTube and see for themselves.
Furthermore, LSU destroyed A&M 50 to 7 in 2019, and in the 2020 game, has LSU played Max Johnson, as opposed to TJ Finley, LSU would have beat A&M easily.

That’s not what the prospects see. Here and now approach. Believe me I get what you’re saying. But LSU needs to upgrade recruiting. Video room with the titles all sorts of things.

They’ve show no signs of accomplishing anything since joining the SEC.
They are still hoping and dreaming of winning the west.

You could be right but as much as it sucks they won last year. It is what it is.

I’m sorry which word or term will be better for you? LSU lost or A&M beat us? In the record books we (LSU) lost to Texas A&M 2 of the last 3 years despite how much that may pain us. Facts are Facts. Young teenagers don’t break down the way we do. Like I said those recruits know in recent history that A&M can hang with and beat LSU, that’s why we are competing fiercely for many of the same kids. If we wouldn’t have lost to them in 2018 & 2020 things would be very different.
