You forgot Yohan Traore as well. But hey, Woodward gets his "guy" (except it won't be a "guy" he was expecting) and a nice extension for kowtowing to the NCAA

Might as well not watch this team for about five years now

Only going to get worse. I mean there might not be a SINGLE player left on the team.

That's not hyperbole in this day and age of player empowerment.

Admin better get ready for some bad numbers next year

Look I'm as big of a Will Wade supporter as they come. But the NOA was worse than I expected and he really did pull some dumb shite. That said, I still think we should've weathered the storm. He will come back strong in a few years just like Bruce Pearl did. We are gonna suck either way for 3 years so at least deal with the show causes and other violations that come our way

People are going to see what Louisiana basketball talent looks like because that's the only people will want to play for LSU. Back to the bottom we go.

They all need to be released from any NLI or commitment. No telling what type of payments Wade negotiated with them

I’m sure we can check WWs wife’s bank statement and find out.

frick you. We just gave ourselves the death penalty. Whatever the NCAA will not be even close what our AD did. LSU fans have this notion that our fat pompous AD can do whatever he wants. Well he screwed up the baseball hire, He got lucky with football and Mulkey fell into his lap. LSU Mens basketball will take years and i mean over 5 years to come back.

Dude, Johnson was a home run hire for baseball if you know even a little bit about baseball.

We’ll have to see who the next hire is, but I don’t think it is hyperbole at all to think that literally every player on the current roster will leave.

Even if I may have taken a different approach, LSU firing Wade was justified. But the timing by the school and NCAA was calculated and vindictive. This has been going on for three years and they “suddenly” finished their investigation the week postseason starts in CBB?

The players, who aren’t implicated in anything, are now being asked to go into the NCAAT…which they earned…without their top two coaches. Under a cloud of suspicion and hate from the public directed at them. The NOA could have come out months, no, YEARS ago. It could have been issued 2,3,4 weeks from now when LSU’s season would have been over. But it was calculated to be issued now. None of these players will want to have anything to do with LSU…and frankly, I don’t blame them. So they will all be gone.

It’s not hyperbole to say that this may literally be a complete rebuild from a returning roster of zero. The de facto punishment LSU just inflicted on itself is worse than anything the NCAA would have levied.

We may need a decommitment board.
He will probably play for another SEC team next season.

Do you think there may have been some collusion between Woodward and Emmert? There is a family connection.
Woodard was careful,in his letter, to point out they are "alleged violations, and we don't know if they are fact".
Everyone seems to believe Woodward was only waiting to install his man as the basketball coach.

No and if there was we should fire Woodward immediately. I think we are allowing Will Wade to be the scapegoat the NCAA and media wanted him to be though. No coach is going to want to come here with an administration that won't support them, shite facilities, and more punishments coming potentially

Agree with everything you said. Max pain was expected from the NCAA.

I did not expect LSU's own administration to chop this team's legs out from underneath them like this.

I expect an underwhelming hire and LSU missing the NCAA tournament for several years.

Vindictive? Yeah.

They probably got that noa back and realized will wade lied to them.

They didn't know the ncaa had proof will wade paid a player out of his own bank account.

Can y'all not figure that out?

We will likely have a team full of walk-ons and Div III players. Scott maybe able to overpay & hire an up and coming DIV III or some obscure DIV I coach to hold a team of walk-ons together. Maybe he hires Kevin Nickelberry, he was head coach at Howard and has a 145-238 total NCAA record as a head coach (we will go far). We are going to be the laughing stock of the SEC anyway.
