4* DE/TE Jaxon Howard trending LSU ahead of his July 1st commitment day

Brandon Thune and Steve Wiltfong have both CBed Jaxon Howard to LSU in the past two days and it appears that LSU will win this one as evidenced by the Miami seemingly separating themselves from the rest of the pack for Jayden Wayne whether that be because they decided to go all in on him or just because they truly think they will get him due to him now going to IMG. Jaxon is likely to play the Jack position on the defensive side of the ball, where BJ will play this season, however he also could be played as a TE although I don't think that's where he will end up due to Mac Markway. We will find out tommorow but that's where this one seems to be headed.

That's probably true but either way if they're trying to get their percentage up then that must mean either they know something or that they trust fong.
