I don’t really pay that much attention to the stars. There is so much research these coaches and analysts do before they make the offer.
But I would bet 75% of the 3 stars players LSU has a commitment from will be a 4 star before the end of their senior season.

While I agree with how smart Kelly is !! Facts are still facts he didn’t win a championship with these type of players at ND because when he was faced with the talent gap he faced from the SEC it was too great! There are some outliners and maybe we have them

The talent gap was largely on the outside. ND produced plenty of top flight OL/DL talent.
That’s why Jalen Brown and Shelton Sampson and the DB recruits are so important.

I haven’t noticed more 3srars than usual or a high amount for a program that’s capable of winning big like LSU.
This year seems no different. We always have about 5 it seems . So does every other highly ranked class usually.
