They also have Ed Paris and Tony Brown as the top 2 for the TX state rankings.

Voorhies is also the #1 player in Mississippi.

That fence around the state needs to go up fast and high with some claymores all around the perimeter so when little Nicky and the Gumps come calling, they get their arses blown off.

That's a fricking crazy list. Most loaded la class I can remember in my life. Just nuts.

I can honestly see us getting at least 11-12 of those 14 guys. If we could get all 14 that would be awesome!

11 of 14 would be amazing
I don't see it happening. Id be happy with 4 of the top 6

Which 4 or 5 do you not see LSU getting?

Cameron Robinson
Hootie Jones
1/4 WR's possibly 2/4
Brumfield

I bet we get at least 2 of those. Seems the last few years there is always doom and gloom about how many guys will go OOS and most wind up staying unless LSU really doesn't pursue them. I'll say we get 11-12 of those 14.

You can bet that LSU won't get all of those guys. You can bet that there will be people wigging the frick out over it as well.
But you can bet that LSU will land some elite OOS talent from kids we haven't even heard mentioned yet.
At this point last year, who was mentioning Rettig and Pocic as guys LSU was going to land?
'14 is going to be the best class I think I've ever seen.

of that, I have no doubt
IMO the most import guys, that i think we must get are Fournette, because he is so high profile and Robinson because of the position. Beyond those 2, as long as we get 11,12 of the top 15 in state, it will be a monster class. I do agree we probably won't get all 4 WT and which ever one we lose will be better than Jerry Rice and Randy Moss

Why 2 of the WR, because we haven't offerned Sims and Quinn is going to A&M?
Never fails though, this early in the cycle, its all doom and gloom. A year ago at this time, D Smith, Diarse, Jefferson, Beckwith were all Bama bound. I guess Jones, Brumfield and Sims will be following suit

I just think its difficult to land 4 players of the same position that are ranked that high in the same state.

Thats right. A neville parent told me had adam henry not come to LSU, Diarse would be going to bama. Alot can change in a year.

Why does it have to be doom and gloom? Its just my gut feeling. I'm not saying that it will wreck our class if we don't land these guys. LSU will be fine regardless.

I kind of agree, but still I think we we get 3 of the 4 and better chance we get all 4 than just 2 imo.

Well there is no way to prove or disprove that. Its easy to say, but who know how it really would have played out. For starters who know how hard Bama would have pursued him. Bama and Saban are the ultimate boogey man for most LSU fans these days, but that doesn't mean they would fully press every La kid they offer.
Seems to be a popular opinion that Jones will not sign with LSU. I'll with hold judgement until he actually commits somewhere else.
