If he hast gained hardly any weight to this point what makes you think he will now?

Let's just put the best four guys on the field. No reason to have both Thompson and Divinity on the bench. Let's get Divinity in the inside spot next to White and have 4 guys with SEC size on the field

Same was said about Debo, he was about 215 most of his career. It's not impossible.

Even if he doesn't gain much weight I see him starting. Dude is just a good all around linebacker

More beef upfront with a more polished Key will help ease the pain. Still need to get some thumpers in there at ILB and I dont see Donnie as one. Maybe at OLB on obvious passing downs?

Over Divinity or Thompson? Doubtful.

A lot of people are forgetting about the Tyler T kid from GA who was a real good pick up for LSU too. Traditonally LB'ers out of GA have been a real good thing for LSU, but this kid is no slouch, he is almost as big as Phillips and is a tackling machine like Phillips with well over 200 tackles his last 2 seasons in HS. And he is a really good athlete, played basketball to in HS and I think maybe some baseball, a better athlete than Phillips I think. He should see some PT early in his career at LSU also.

IMO all these guys will see the field if they earn it in the offseason, hopefully they all work their tails off so we can actually put the best on the field. What we have now is superb versatility and is exactly what Aranda thrives in. Depending on down/distance you will see a great mixture of heavy, light, run stopping/pass rushing linebackers at a given time. We can also do this with our DL (wish we had gotten Wilson) go heavy or lighter depending on down and distance. Could even mix heavey at the line light in the back 4 or vise versa. We really need more DLman for this but we could pull it off. Also depends on how they are all separating from each other some just might be that much better like Key and White to ever take off the field. White is a straight baller and idk if I would ever take that young man out until he wanted to come out. Here's to a great offseason! Work hard boys gotta work to become greatness and finally beat the red team. GT

Too light in the pants to play inside. Gets pushed around

There's no way, in my opinion, he's one of our best 4 LBers for next season

considering Divinity started the first game of his college career (field LB) VS Wisconsin I would say yea.

Divinity just wasn't ready, expect to see plenty of Corey Thompson, he's 100 percent healthy and is hungry.

waited a long time to see a foursome like this

In all fairness, we've been base 4-3 for such a long time before last season.

If I had to pick a pure LB "corps" for top honors, I would have to go 2001: Faulk, James, Lawrence (L Turner)

Not that much. Go watch some highlights of Debo before his senior year. Got pushed around the same by linemen, went around blocks, and missed a bunch of tackles. He put it all together for his senior year.

Alexander had a better junior year than that.
