I think it remains to be seen if he’s a pitcher or a position player long term. He’s very talented in both. Great pick up for the 2024 class. It’s a loaded class in state and he’s on one of the top travel teams with a bunch guys that will play big time college ball. He’s also got two teammates at West Monroe in his class that will be big time recruits.

3rd base or 1st base will be his position. Significant injury to shoulder playing football may keep
Him from the bump. Power hitter. Good kid.

I thought the shoulder injury was one of the other brothers and that John was still pitching. Was I mistaken or did he also injure his shoulder?

No doubt, what I love about this staff so far is their presence on social media. Seems like everyday something is being posted with video, pics, new commits etc

I've really been enjoying that as well.

John hurt his shoulder in football. JJ is at a West Ridge game.

Jacob(oldest and in Braves farm system) hurt his shoulder in high school.
John tore his labrum last year playing football, had to miss his freshman baseball season. He was a pitcher as well up to that point. He’s healed but not sure if he’s pitching going forward.
Unfortunately John is not playing football anymore, was a beast at FB….he could play college football if he wanted to.

Correct
WM was meh all of last year. Then both Pearsons come out for the playoffs. All of a sudden WM is a different team and steamrolls to the semifinals. John was hurt in the quarters and doesn't play. WM loses semis. I honestly think WM wins state last year if John stays healthy. He's that good at football. He's built like an SEC LB right now. Here's a pic of the family and you can see he dwarfs them.

I'll try to find one with the boys standing next to each other. Just know in height it goes: Bill-Dad, Josh-LSU, Jacob-Mississippi Braves, John-Sophomore at WM.

Dad still looks like he could play. He was a heck of if a ball player back our day.
