I’m sure you are the QB whisperer and know so much about the position. Have you ever heard one of this kids interviews? One of the tools needed to be able to progress to the next level at the QB position is intelligence. This is why the most dynamic of athletes do not make it past the high school level at the QB position. Those who do rarely see past two years of the NFL. This young man has the physical tools and judging by his interviews has the intelligence for the position. I guess being 100% LSU will probably piss you off also? Get out of here with your barn nonsense. Like the earlier poster states he should be starting his junior season in HS so he has plenty of time to develop the accuracy.

[b]UPDATE from Gorney:[/b
I’m torn to put any of these high-end quarterbacks last on the list because they all had their moments during the day including Hurley, who had long stretches of really impressive throws all over the field. And to be fair, quarterbacks are supposed to throw the ball to a spot and a receiver is supposed to run under it and he wasn’t throwing to elite receivers so some of his incompletions were really nice, well-placed passes.
At OT7 in Phoenix, some of Hurley’s deep balls sailed on him and that was the case again Saturday for the LSU commit. It’s something to watch as he heads toward his senior season. The four-star was also not going at game speed at all times through drills and that’s understandable in a more relaxed setting like this but it would’ve worked better if Hurley was going full speed.
Looks like he made the top 6:

he's only a sophomore though...in think he'll have a big jump next year but his freshman at LSU he's gonna make huge strides...he's graduating a year early

You can have all the future NFL receivers you want but it's moot if you can't get them the ball. Lsu has been there done that.

Jadyn Davis is the best of the 2024 prospects

He wasn't throwing to elite receivers at a QB showcase?
I call bullshite.
The whole point of the Steve Clarkson showcase is to get the top prospects in an event where they look good and the 247 guys gush.
If you think they brought in scrubs to run routes, I have ocean front property for you in Arizona

So he just turned 16 a couple months ago, but he's graduating a year early. This fall will be his last season of high school football.
If his accuracy doesn't make a marked jump this fall I hope we're bringing in another QB with him. All the football intelligence and physical gifts(he's only 6', FYI) don't matter if you can't complete passes.

He’s 16 also actually only a year older than Lewis—— Colin will be a Good QB at LSU

Where do you people come from? Have your offered your evaluation talents to the Mannings? Surely they are missing out not having you on staff.
