I scrolled down the list and there are only a few in the Top 100 that are uncommitted. I did find this kid:

No LSU offer. Likely more of a depth/development player, but may be worth a look.
The portal will be where we'll have to go for the best DT options.

Do we have anyone recruiting defensive tackles. Alabama, Clemson, Florida, even TCU has multiple commitments.

It’s the hardest position to find talent for. Louisiana didn’t put out any elite talent at that position this year. We’ll have to grab some guys from the portal to add depth. But, we still have Mason Smith, Mekhi Wingo and possibly Roy returning. We’ll be alright.

Seems to be the only flaw of this class. Completely struck out on the interior DL. Womack and Howard will be really good edge players. Carpenter has a shot as a developmental guy. Hopefully we can find 2-3 impact interior guys in the portal.

I think we are going to surprisingly flip at least one and maybe two of the top 100 guys and get one or two from the portal.
No insider info, just speculation and a judgement on how this staff has recruited so far. I can’t see them missing on all DL recruits given how well they’ve done at all other positions.

That seems to be wishful thinking. I hope you’re right, but that seems very unlikely at this point. We’ll have to hit the portal.

Since when is it just ok for LSU to not sign DLman in a class and when it’s called out for what it is this site starts trying to cover it up?
If this were Les Miles or Orgeron, this site would be up in arms about us not even sniffing a DL recruit in this cycle. It’s not going to be alright and I don’t see where these recruits HAVE to be from the same state to commit to a school. Masson Smith had a pretty bad injury if I’m not mistaken. We had zero depth THIS season, next season will be much worse. I’m completely aware that we have the portal to lean back on but to lean on the portal for at least 3 to 4 quality prospects, more next year is definitely concerning and we should be discussing it.
Why aren’t we recruiting this position much more heavily and why can’t LSU sign the top DL prospects in the region or country? We should be doing that. I’m hoping that it’s just a relationship building time issue or they have already identified guys in the portal with at least 2 years to play. It sure doesn’t look very good for a team like LSU not to be named next to one of the better DL prospects in the country two seasons in a row.
At some point we need to be pushing Clemson, Auburn, Bama, Florida, A&M, Texas, Georgia, Florida and Ohio state out of their own area for some of these guys. We can’t just let them pile them up on their rosters. We need to get in there and tell them their plans for them aren’t to their benefit. At LSU you can start tomorrow and help us build what the school who’s offering already has build and will use you only to bolster that number and keep us out.

Without knowing the plan it’s hard to panic, personally. Kelly is an elite coach unlike the others you mentioned so there’s some trust there.
