truly think Howard is going to be a top 10 draft pick after his junior year.

I like the guy,but damn, I'd give it a little bit more time before I said a guy has nfl potential, much less a 3 year player and top ten nfl draft pick.

Wasnt this last football season his first as a high school varsity starter?

5 star QB committed to LSU is a sight for sore eyes.

I really don't even put much stock into these recruiting rankings anymore. They seem to adjust their rankings based on sporting politics and popularity of what others think.

Yes, but STM already had a really good QB with a big-time arm that won them the state championship. I don't think you sit a senior that is winning games to start a sophomore.

It actually worked out great, Walker had time to get his reps in JV games, while learning the STM offense.

College and high school eligibility is different.

Walker and Eli are a year apart now. With redshirting and potential early NFL departure, Eli could could be a redshirt sophomore when Walker is a rookie in the NFL.

Do you really think the Holsteins moved to Zachary just so Eli wouldn’t sit behind Walker? It could have something to do with his mom getting a good job and moving there.

He may not have gone to STM had they stayed in Lafayette. But there are other schools he could have showcased his talent at...LCA, Teurlings, Notre Dame, etc.

He was at Zachary last year while his brother was still at STM.

Yep. He and his mom moved to Zachary and his dad and Caleb stayed behind for a few months so Caleb could finish over here.

I just meant we really, really, really want Arch and will sign all his friends if that secures him.

With his roommate committing last week, it’s a good starting point.

Walker Howard is going to be a superstar at LSU! He has the arm to make Every NFL throw. The bonus? Howard has a nice set of wheels. This kid is a playmaker!

We are clearly going all-in on Arch as well.

Walker is on a whole other level above Arch. I say it respectfully, but Howard is a superior athlete. Kid is FAST but doesn't use it until needed.
His knowledge, awareness, and passing cannot be topped.
When he was a freshman, Bama'S top recruiter came to practice to watch. When asked if he needed to be introduced to Holstein, the recruiter said "Holstein is a nice kid and a decent qb, but I'm here to see Howard, we call him The Truth! in our recruiting meetings...hes our target"
(As a 7th grader, Howard won camp mvp at Saban camp that included 8th graders)

So I'd like to officially introduce Howards nickname and get it out of the way and into production...

Nussmeier > Howard > Arch would be the best 3 year stretch of QB recruiting in LSU history I'd guess.

Reminds me a lot of the stretch of QB recruiting CEO’s mentor CPC had at USC in the 2000s. Funny how two defensive guys have been able to identify and secure elite talent at the QB position. You love to see it!

The most impressive thing I saw in his highlights is his accuracy as a right handed thrower while running to his left. Really, really impressive
