Just wanted to mention that '22 RB from Dutchtown Dylan Sampson had a major performance at the LSU indoor track meet this weekend running 6.92 for 60 meters. He was only behind Corey Wren by .02 and Wren is a national championship caliber runner. I know Sampson has an offer from Tenn currently.

ETA: Boutte has run 6.96 this year for another perspective.

Hopefully it works out better than it did with the last Dylan with a biblical last name.

Yeah, that speed is legit and he still has several years to grow and work on size/strength. Sounds like a young man that we should keep an eye on.

Collins and Lacy were Katrina kids from Algiers, not Dutchtown or Ascension Parish kids.

Went to the DTown/Catholic game. Despite Catholic stomping their arse, it was clear as day that he was on another level than anybody else on the field. Was blown away when I found out he was a sophomore. Electric

He’s little right now, Lester, just incredibly fast. If I had to guess, I’d say 5’8 160

Coach TRob was at DTown today talking about Sampson. He said “That young man’s going to get tired of seeing me.”

I’ve seen him play vs CHS the last 2 years. Fast as F#*K! If he gets a seen or cleared on the edge, he’s GONE.

I can attest, little dude can burn. Couple more inches and 25-30 pounds he’ll be a manimal on a football field
