Kid is all LSU. Now will he be a dominant player, ol is a hard projection. Hopefully he turns out like some of the other NELA offensive linemen that have left ouachita parish

Also the younger Campbell was playing catcher and looks like he will be a big kid maybe a future prospect.
LMFAO! Thomas is a damn runt. In fact, he’s the smallest d-lineman that Neville Jr high had this year. He hasn’t gotten his dads size at all so far.

No sir. Notre Dame gave a STRONG push late but Will will stick to his word tomorrow night and attend the same college as his good buddy Walker. Hold that Tiger!

Where’s Mr North Monroe (cyborg & ULM) that said they knew Bull Campbell and sons friend, they should have the scoop or at least know something??
Posted on 1/29/21 at 9:39 pm to Sissidog02
I never said I knew them. I don’t.
I said that LSU is extremely popular in north Monroe, and that I thought Campbell would go to LSU.
Looks like I was right.

Fingers crossed for LSU. Being from up this way it’s been painful of late to see many of our top prospects head to Bama and elsewhere. A lot of that can be attributed to Miles not having the relationships necessary along with the passing of Don Shows. Hope those days are behind us.

This is where we finally land our elite OT.
We have three OT’s rated just as high on our roster.

but Deculus makes clear that they can underwhelm.
Deculus has been a fantastic player for LSU. He will end his career as a four year starter. He’ll probably play more snaps than any other guy mentioned in this thread, and he’s played at a high level. He’s not going to be a starting left tackle in the NFL, but he is a good talent and he bullies SEC linemen.

The guy was talking about baseball. If the kid is over 200 pounds that’s good size in that sport.

The kid is about 5’5”, 130 lbs. I don’t need you telling me what a good size is in ANY sport.

Stop pissing all over LSU landing the #1 player in the state a-hole. Let the people who know the game and have seen the kids play make statements about how good they will be.

Come on, man. You can’t get by just having one or two good recruits per line position. You have consistently great O Lines by stacking these guys, building depth, promoting fierce competition to see the field, and then immediately reloading when guys leave. This year showed that we aren’t there yet.

Nothing to worry about here this kid is 100% Tiger. He’s going to watch his friends blindside for 2-3 years. We are going to have a nice little OL haul in 2022 and the best part is most will be in state kids. I think our OL class ends up being:
OT: Will Campbell
OG: Emery Jones
G/C: Bo Bordelon
OG: Lucas Taylor
OT: Cam East

This would be a great OL haul
Posted on 1/30/21 at 2:40 pm to SlidellTiger
Yes it would and there’s no reason we shouldnt land them all. We will lose most likely 6 OL guys after next year not including who might leave this spring. I think Kardell Thomas might decide to take his ball and move on after spring ball. Then you have all 5 starting OL gone plus possibly Cam Wire. We will need fresh blood and all these kids would have an opportunity to play early if they are good enough. We need to prove 2019 was no fluke and LSU is here to stay and then we won’t have to scrape and claw for OL recruits anymore.
Posted on 1/30/21 at 3:03 pm to LSU_30A
Think Cam Wire goes pro without even one season starting??, I think he stays 2 seasons, one more as the sixth man then one as a starter at guard or tackle, I think he shows big time ability and flexibility at multiple positions before moving on, he's still technically a So correct?
