Aiden hall is a bonafide stud from the jr tape I’ve watched of him and assuming we add Blaine Bradford that’s two top 5 safeties in the country in one class. Bradford specifically looks like a Caleb downs/ Jonah Williams caliber safety prospect. Elite speed, great tackler in open space and super smooth in coverage.

The 2025 class added some firepower at corner with anding and Pickett. 2026 looks like it’s adding firepower at safety with Hall and Bradford. Outside of Pickett , the common denominator is getting back to locking down the state a lot of elite Louisiana talent.

Can BK/staff develop a HS Safety here is the million dollar question. Going into Year 4 and it hasn't been done yet.

Just gonna be honest in saying it’s going to be extremely hard to get both of those guys. Especially Bradford with amount of NIL that will be thrown at home from the likes of Texas, Miami, A&M and Oregon mainly. Let’s hope LSU offers stupid money to these guys like they will.

And he’s a Louisiana kid. More times than not elite Louisiana kids stay home even in the NIL era

You got to have elite talent to develop “elitely” I know that’s not a word Ms Everett(my 91yr old sub English teacher)

Well what do you consider elite? Top 5 or Top 10 at position in the cycle?

If this isn't the million dollar question.

quote:

1.

a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.

Is their a number threshold? Are there years where there are no elites? Are we comparing one years elite to a past years or only this one? How subjective are the judges of who is or isn't elite?
My take, elite is far overused and should be compared, in this instance, to past classes not just the current one. For instance, is Pickett elite if we are comparing him to PP7 as prospects? Is Jahkeem Stewart elite compared to Myles Garrett? If elite is only being judged based on the current class, that waters down the meaning of elite imo. But its all subjective hence why the question is so loaded. 10 different folks will give you varying opinions of what constitutes elite.

I would think each class would have 1 or 2 elite players at most positions. But, I am no expert and may be totally wrong.
