Been going on for decades. Remember Blue Chips? Penny’s mom wanted $1k to allow a coach to visit them! I know it’s a movie but they didn’t just make that up.

They’re kids enjoying the process with 15 months to ESD, so before the “OMG can’t believe we lost more battles already” crowd starts up… this is normal, lol.

Yeah saw someone post it on twitter (X) as well. Also some schools are paying month deposits to certain players to come visit and keep them in Top of the list.
