2024 247-5* Mississippi DL prospect Kamarion Franklin sets official to the good guys.

Franklin did not name the Tigers in his top 10 previously, but recently told On3’s Chad Simmons that he is looking to narrow his list down to five schools soon. However, LSU getting him for an official visit after not making his previous top schools list only portends well for Brian Kelly and Co.

I no longer take Mississippi kids seriously as far as LSU landing them.

If we go hard after him, maybe that is telling on how we stand with McKinley. Or maybe we get both, which I think we'll need as we lose a bunch of studs after this year. Never enough DL guys, so let's be greedy. The trenches always precede championships...

Somewhat agree... Just wondering if we could ever change the trend at least once..
Eta: we did nab #1 Miss. Deion Smith in 2021. Ga. got #2 Nakobe Dean in '19, Bama took #1 Jaheim Oatis & Ga. got #3 Branson Robinson in 2022, so I'll never say never
