How come nobody throws the ball over the middle of the field? All he does is come downhill at the snap of the ball. Throw right over the top of him

Cryer has an offer. Although the way LSU has treated him lately, I doubt it is a committable offer. As of now it is a mutual hard NO.

It will take he awhile to get on the field at the next level. He has zero responsibility, does not have to take on blocks or cover anyone and never had to backpedal. The defense is designed to showcase him, uncle the coach, dad the principal. Lines up 6-7 yards deep and runs untouched to the ball. He is a impressive player, worthy of the ranking, but without playing a real position, it could take time. I do believe he could get on the field fast at Rush LB, only. Put his hand in the dirt, set the edge and rush the Qb.
