Anyone who pretends like LSU isnt the leader for this kid is simply fooling themselves. He's local, we offered first, has a great relationship with O and the staff, LSU is DBU and he's the top safety prospect, which is arguably LSU's current biggest position of need.
It would take something monumental for Texas or Florida to pull him oos. I just dont see it, especially with the way O has been locking down the top in-state talent.

If you happened to watch his King Of The South video that was recently released it was definitely eye opening to see what he said about Coach O and LSU. Pretty much said the LSU offer made him stick with football

Downvote away. LSU has a chance but they are going to have to recruit him hard!! I talk to him personally. Texas had serious momentum, but there are some things he’s heard about Sark that he’s not feeling. Florida, ASU, and USC are his favorites as of now. He loves ASU,USC and the idea of playing on the west coast. LSU has work to do, just being honest.

Not buying the UT/UF stuff at all. Just a kid that wants to manufacture some intrigue so LSU fans get more excited when he stays home.

Absolutely Bradley, Jacoby says that Coach Orgeron offering him as a ninth grader when he was still thinking his future was basketball changed his focus to football. I like Jacoby even more after watching King of The South. He's a leader, goal oriented, and very sharp.
I did find it curious in the part of the video where Sam Spiegelman is going over who is recruiting Jacoby because Sam does not mention LSU. My impression was that Sam's part was edited in the beginning where Spiegelman names Bama, Florida, Texas as doing a good job recruiting Jacoby, then says those are probably his top 4 right now.
No one ever mentions that Coach Tierney coached Mickey Joseph and his brothers at Shaw. LSU has recruited him hard and given him room to breath too.
