Him, Sage AND Derrick Davis on the field at once will be scary.
The coaches have been talking up Davis since he arrived on campus. I think that kid is gonna be a monster. He's just not as hyped around here, since he's not local. Locals havent seen him play in person yet.
We're pulling the best safety prospects in the country. Need to get the top CB prospects in here too. Havent had a top 5 corner prospect since Ricks. Not that long ago obviously, but seemed like we landed the top corner prospect for several years in a row before these latest two classes.

Texas? Bruh.... Gatas? Really?
Was told at Easter that he’s UF/UT right now. LSU needs a strong season to get back into it.

I think it's either lsu or Florida.
I never get the part about "if they have a good season".
I feel like people say this and not the players.

So by that logic if Texas and Florida have bad seasons are they out of it, or is LSU the only team that has to actually be good for him to consider going there?

Not that it matters since he's still going to take visits, but he's viewed as basically a silent to Texas right now
Texas has four silents, but since they're all taking visits, it doesn't really mean anything. Hell, even most of the commits are still taking their OVs, so they probably shouldn't be viewed as traditional commitments
Weird recruiting cycle

This sounds like something M. Roach or some other “insider” would serve up.
Don’t mean to bust your bubble, but “silent” commitments don’t amount to much of anything (if they are even a real thing).

lol if you come to this board expecting even a shred of rationality, you're gonna have a bad time.

People always say " Well Texas is Texas". They have a hype machine right now because of Sark. Proof will be how they show in the season.
From Jacoby
From Jacoby

“LSU that’s the first offer and of course it’s the home town team. I don’t like the teams to shy away from me because it’s the hometown school. Coach (Ed) O(rgeron) hits me up like three times a week, him personally telling me he was the first to offer and that’s a special feeling. I like how the depth chart is looking. They don’t have anyone committed or anyone on roster and I feel I can go there and ball out on their defense three years in a row and get to the league.”

I don't pay attention to Roach, and I clearly pointed out that silent commits done necessarily mean much, especially in this cycle

Yes, you did and I agree with you

It’s a NEW* top 6 for him. Switched out bama, oklahoma, and mississippi state for clemson, arizona state, and USC

NO BARBER?

Why do people think the barber has ties to Ponchatoula? LSU got the last 4* to come out of PHS
Posted on 4/7/21 at 1:00 pm to RATeamWannabe
It's not Ponchatoula that's been the problem. Amite and Kentwood are the two schools in that parish who have players that defected to Bama. Amite much more so than Kentwood.

Ur throwing the silent word around to the wrong fan base...been there done that...basically means he’s def NOT going to UT

Haha, such a true statement.
We are definitely not fans of the term “silent commitment”. Been burned by it too many times!!!
