Lets finish with
Smith
Foreman
Makaneole or Byrd or Leigh (2 of 3)
247 score
Smith/Foreman/Byrd/Leigh = 311.40
Smith/Foreman/Makaneole/Leigh = 307.70
Smith/Foreman/Byrd/Makaneole = 305.98
Smith and Foreman (23 total) = 300.50 (first time ever over 300)
Smith
Foreman
Makaneole or Byrd or Leigh (2 of 3)
247 score
Smith/Foreman/Byrd/Leigh = 311.40

I'm going out on a limb here and saying --
We need to add more OLinemen and DB's in this class.
And I feel pretty sure we won't sign 5 WR... that's too many.

good analysis - we just added the 4th WR with Bech - looks like Thomas is not in the numbers. We have 4 remaining spots with DL (Smith and Foreman) as prime time targets. That leaves two remaining for OL (Leigh and Byrd) as prime targets. Who knows if any of the current commitments will chose to or be asked to depart the class? I hope we have room for the 4 above if they want in and possibly another OL or CB. The numbers are interesting, especially with all of the OLB and WDE currently committed.

Added Davis.
3 spots left.
OL is our only need that’s left this class. (Gotta land 2 more)
Obviously Foreman and Smith is good to have as well.
I don’t want to start “processing” anyone or hear any of it bc of last year. Let’s keep adding recruits and deal with it on ESD.

I think Deion Smith and Zavier Carter are two flip candidates. I have no proof of this but just seems like they are forgotten guys in the class by the board in general. Just a hunch.

Smith, Foreman, and Leigh would be best case scenario in my book. Adding Leigh and Dellinger to Dumervil and the OL last year would be ideal.

Can’t we sign more than 25? I could of swore I seen some teams that had 26-27 commits because their scholarship count was low or something.

It is, but still 25 max unless undersign the previous year. LSU used the extra ones on transfers at OL, LB, and DB.

Yep, I say get Smith, Foreman, Leigh and Byrd. And move on to 2022

Time to bring the bags out. LSU really needs these studs

Shemar Turner and Tunmise Adeleye both CBs to A&M
Posted on 11/18/20 at 11:00 pm to lsutigers718
Added Jardin Gilbert. Went from 1 safety to 5. Lol

No inside info, but I would be surprised if all of those guys sign here. Langlois, Davis, Ryan, and Gilbert are likely in. Gee has had an underwhelming senior year and has difficulty in coverage.

Still believe we need
Foreman
Leigh
Smith
One more OL
Gilbert (replacing someone committed?)
Was still thinking even one more OL or CB along with those 5 above

3 spots left:
I think we end up with Smith, McGhee, Leigh, Gilbert, Kimo, Moko, and Foreman.
Adding 7. I have no clue which 4 current guys wouldn’t make it and I’m not going to sit here and guess either.
What y’all think?

4 is the number of current commits that I think won't end up in the class as well, but I don't think they'll all be our decision for then to leave.
I agree about not speculating on names, too. I find that to be in extremely poor taste and is my least favorite part of this board this time of year.
