outlier. stop pushing this as a reliable narrative
2 and 3 stars signed by schools like LSU are less of “outliers” than those that go to SLU...we have better evaluators than recruiting services. Just saying

Wut. Not impressed with how we are finishing this class, especially being in the national title
Well, shite. You're not impressed? The LSU coaching staff must have no idea what they are doing then.

I'm pretty sure the coaches got this covered. They will probably let him run a couple of go routes versus Stingley during his visit to test him out.

I think it’s important to remember that our RB and WR we are adding is for the sake of depth. In case injuries happen or transfers.
Hard to find elite players who want to sit behind other elite players at skill positions.
And that’s okay. Maybe they’ll contribute their 4th year!
WE ARE EXTREMELY DEEP AT WR!!!!

I think it’s dumb to drop a player’s rating based on grade issues. If he has 4/5 star ability, then he should be a 4/5 star.
If they can’t qualify academically, then they can’t play. 5 star signee who can’t play just helps win the recruiting title, not the real game on the field.

He's a 4* on 247.
The other sites don't know what they're doing, so I don't care what he's rated there.

Can’t teach 4.3 speed! Kid is a baller.

For the 400th time, trust this staff. They wouldn’t accept a kid that they thought couldn’t play.

Is the Bama commit Baker still visiting?

Maybe the coaches should get your cell and email number just to see who impresses you. that way they don't waste their time.

I like Adams' upside better. Baker is a possession receiver. Would take them both though.

He's also not 5'11", like Rivals lists him. Can see that in the tape that he looks longer than that.

Soft hands, Elite speed. separation after the catch, high points the ball, gets yards after the catch, runs good routes, Stiff arms and break tackles. This kid is impressive. Forget the stars. He looks legit.

Have you seen whos available? People act like there are a plethora of 5* kids still out there. There aren't. The late signing period is filled with kids flying under the radar, didn't sign for a particular reason or two, grade risks or guys that always were gonna wait. The top end guys left have already been through most of the process and use built relationships with certain schools and aren't really opening up to others at this point. Filling 6 spots in January is never gonna get fanbases excited if they're expecting some kind of class shifting group. Those kids just aren't out there.
Adams is a stud. He's a better natural talent than Jarrett imo. He just doesn't play at a high profile recruiting academy like Jarrett or have the issues.
I don't envy the staff at this stage. The better prospects on our board are guys that are risky academically and they're gonna shave to take chances on a couple of they want to fill the class. And jockey those with leaving spots open. Im interested to see how it shakes out.

Were you impressed with 2 star WR Jefferson when they recruited him?
Posted on 1/9/20 at 12:34 pm to lsufanva
Yep, besides McKinley Jackson and a RB, it's all kids with academic issues. Adams, Crawford, CamRon, Lorando.
