May be a tad early, but I like the kid and I think he can thrive with Gundy.

Nice pick most years he would be near the top my board. There are much lower ranked DEs that I really like though. Even then I still considered him as replacment for your thievery of Vann but Im gonna go with 3-4 or 3-3-5 instead.

Team Fib^2 going to roll with another track dude in round 6:
Loic Fouonji, WR - Texas Tech
6'4", creates separation and is a terror on the deep ball. 22 TDs in his Senior season along with 1400+ yards. Stepping on to a roster that is wanting to reload at WR. He's only played football for 3 years. He runs a 21.42 in 200M (I'm seeing references to a 20.42, but can't confirm yet, assuming typo - that's frickin fast
- on a 6'4" frame). And btw, he punts and kicks as well...
Special Teams bonus.

So I’m drinking bourbon whilst frying seafood waiting for the LSU baseball game to start. I may or may not update or let you lazy bastards know it’s your pick. I also may bump if it’s necessary.

Good pickup coming off an acl tear be would have been a top lb if not for that

I’ll take EJ Smith - RB - Stanford
Had to check 3 times to make sure i wasnt missing where this guy had already been picked. Emmitt Smith Jr, is a tremendous athlete playing both RB and WR for his high school team. he had 2000 rushing yards and scored 35 touchdowns, as a sophomore. He may not be as athletic as McCaffrey, but i see a lot of similarities in the way they play the game.

Gonna go with a Verlander special here.
Give me Michael Carmody OT Notre Dame.
He's got good size at 6'6 290. Doesn't look particularly long on film but he is one hell of an athlete. One article I read said he lead the NATION in rebounding at one point this season. His football highlights look good like all of the highly ranked OT's, but his basketball highlights are awesome for a big fella. Notre Dame seems to pump out the O-linemen and this guy has all world potential.

Okay now that this crazy week has finally ended, I can put a bit of analysis behind my picks.
Round 1: Gervin Dexter, DT, Florida. STUD. This guy is going to be a problem for the SEC from Day 1. At 6’7 and nearly 290, he’s going to the anchor of the UF DL for the next three years. Think Richard Seymour at UGA.
Round 2: Chris Braswell, DE/OLB, Alabama. Freak edge guy in the mold of recent Bama OLB Anfernee Jennings. Quick off the edge with room to add even more positive weight. Walks into a crowded situation, but the talent should show out early.
Round 3: Zykevious Walker, DE, Auburn. Marlon Davidson clone. Should get early PT with Auburn losing as much talent up front as they did.
Round 4: Myles Hinton, LT, Stanford. Prototype left tackle. EXCELLENT feet. Feels like one of those bulldozers that Stanford used to pump into the NFL.
Round 5: Davon Achane, RB, Texas A&M. Matchup nightmare. Small stature, but decent strength/power to go along with elite speed. Really good receiver. Will give SEC LBs fits. Part of a big class so the concern here is that he will be pigeonholed into being only a third down back
Round 6: Roger Rosengarten, RT, Washington. Mean son of a bitch. Hunts for contact. Surprising burst for a dude his size. Really fun film where he gets to the second level and just ragdolls poor linebackers.
