Definitely his best game of the year. I hope you're right about his play earlier in the season being because of an injury. We're going to need him to keep it up down the stretch.

So Greene won’t count towards the 25 because LSU is offering him an academic scholarship?

doesn't make a difference. He will count. He was a recruited player. There is no getting around it with players like this who are quality football players.

If I read the rules correctly if he takes an academic this year and doesn’t play next year ie. Redshirt without seeing the field like the old days he doesn’t count towards the 25 this year...next year the second he steps foot on the field he counts towards the 85 man scholarship limit (see rule on offering a player on a baseball or track scholarship and he plays football as well) and the 25 man limit for that year...if we are really going to get all these players Jordan Burch Zack Evans Dummervil etc this helps for this year and we just take one less the first year he sees the field...I’d compare it to what the Saints do with Drew Brees’ contracts they kick the can down the road a year or two to give the best outcome this year.
