I think everyone is, well, except the few that refuse to eat crow.

Shea just tweeted that 2020 4* Safety Malcom Greene is going to have 60 credited hours when he ARRIVES at LSU
This means he will be a Junior academically when he steps on campus

Apparently he won’t be on scholarship this year either and not eating one of the 25 spots. He is going to be a junior in college when he starts at LSU. Bright bright kid
That’s so unfair that he is that good at football and that good academically at the same time haha. Lot of sacrifice by him and his parents I’m sure. Honestly I am super impressed with this kid and I haven’t even seen him.
Side note, hell of a job by the staff identifying this opportunity, this kind of out of the box recruiting is what we need, just like Cole Tracy before.

For those who are confused. Although academically he will be a junior he will be listed as a freshmen on the football roster.

Offers from Vanderbilt, Duke, Stanford, and Notre Dame.
Smart kid.

I love that because that means he will be able to pick up Dave Aranda’s playbook easier then other new guys.

Makes this commitment even more exciting! He can concentrate on football after graduates! Will be a huge player for us in a couple years and be the QB of our defense

Absolutely. Kid can graduate in two years and then do what Burrow is doing and take one grad class and otherwise just focus on football.

Wow what an impressive young man.

Hopefully he has applied for academic scholarships and the NCAA can't f with us.
Great get and bigger if he doesn't count.

I cant imagine the NCAA not having something to say about this. There are plenty of kids who have great grades and take AP classes that are still counted as scholarship athletes. I seriously doubt the LSU compliance office has found some loophole that nobody else ever has.

Don't really like Greene's height. As that seems to be one of Vincent's problems, but I guess, nevertheless, we will take him.

Honey Badger is one of those once every two or three generations kind of players. Also, imagine Honey Badger at 6'1" or 6'2".

Height isn’t Vincent’s problem

I mean I don't know the rules, but we take like 10-15 new walk ons every year. Are they never allowed to be on academic scholarship?
Posted on 10/26/19 at 1:20 pm to GhostofJackson
They have to be in the program for one year before they can get on scholarship and not be an initial counter

Let's be perfectly honest. If you were God and could do anything, wouldn't you add two to three inches to his height?
