One they really like is Free. He was a transfer from Vandy in JUCO now. Not sure a transfer wants to come and sit behind Brennan though. Beyond him, they are still evaluating several guys. Then of course there's Taulia, and we are still trying to work the "You're not going to play over Bear Bryant's legacy" angle. Lots of senior year evals working right now on the QBs.

Man, I just don't see it with this kid.
I'm not paid big bucks to evaluate though, so I'm sure I'm missing something.

What’s Parish’s thoughts on this? I don’t get taking another QB when you’ve got him committed and Finley in 2020 who may be a 5 star.

I have never thought that LSU needs a Bert Jones every year. With all the talent at LSU most of the time all they need is Matt Mauck every year.

We've had 3 QBs leave in the last yearish. They understand that there has to be a depth chart beyond who's on the field and who is the backup.

LSU can get a 5 Star Qb and it won’t make a god damn difference. There is no one on staff capable of developing a quarterback.

Do you get that we have TWO scholarship QB’s? While Parrish is committed, he’s not yet SIGNED. And having 4 scholly QB’s is not a terrible plan.
Also, Burrow COULD leave after this season, if that door was open and he chose to walk through it.

Why did Gunnell fall so far? His high school numbers are very impressive and he’s playing at a big school in a very competitive state.

Dude has 2 QB's committed right now, so, he better cut out the BS before he lose them. I don't get how or why they say some of the BS that they say sometimes, concentrate on your damn season because your team don't look too hot right now.
Also, I don't get some of the people on here downing that kid LeGendre because that kid is just as talented as any QB out there. He's 6'3-215lbs and can sling a football, he destroyed Brother Martin the other nite in terrible rain throwing for 5 TD's passing the ball all over the place to different receivers. And as usual Alabama and Georgia have beat LSU to the punch with offers.
