He's going to be a return specialist. His screen game is strong also. I can see this as a toy for Joe Brady. The kid is electric coming out of the backfield.

They were until he had his season ending injury. He was fantastic before that. One game he rushed for over 350.

Knee. I don't know the extent other than it's not career threatening but may cost him 2019.

To my earlier point about both how good Josh is and how good his little brother can be, here's an article about the SPC championship game that Kinkaid won over Episcopal(*).

LINK

The freshman ran for 200 yards in his first game on varsity (the championship game!).

(*) We all are skeptical about private school stats, with good reason. But note that the team they beat in the championship (Episcopal) produced Marvin Wilson and Jaylen Waddle. So it's not like there is not a ton of talent in the SPC. It's just mixed in with a bunch of future doctors, lawyers and bankers.

excellent info AND context!

I for one thank you.

If this possibly leads to his brother it is a no-risk move. At worst he becomes a S/Teams player and gets a scholarship down the road that doesn't count against the 25 (only the 85) to lure the brother.

Well damn. Awesome summary thanks for letting me in the loop on this one. Sounds like a good move as a PWO.

The kid’s parents must be loaded. Kincaid is the most expensive private school in Houston.

Aren’t you like 17? I remember when it kept me on edge.

A word to the wise, stop caring so much. You’ll save yourself plenty of disappointment.

Yea I’m 17. I was being sarcastic though. I do get worked up about stuff, but won’t have a full blown meltdown at least hopefully. Thanks for the advice though, just after the Surtain crap last year I was close to going off the deep end for a bit.

Thanks for the back ground info on Josh. Him walking on as a preferred walk on makes total sense now.

I’m not saying they aren’t, but I do know that my private school gave heavy tuition discounts to get some strong athletes there. Maybe the injury is clouding his rank. A PWO isn’t a big deal. Let’s see where it goes.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Williams.

Of his 5 “offers,” 4 are FCS that don’t offer athletic scholarships and the other is DII that usually give partial scholarships out. Not surprised he would rather PWO at LSU.

As a parent of private school kids in Houston, this is not quite accurate. Episcopal is the most expensive.

Kinkaid ain't cheap though.

Kinkaid does recruit and does have scholarship money. I have no idea if the Williams' are beneficiaries of that, however. I do know that the kids (both Josh and Jordan) are very well respected and very intelligent.

Does a PWO count towards the 85 man limit? I would think not.
