Nice pick. I'm surprised he lasted this long.

I thought the point was getting non-corndog drafters to save some of your recruiting class for past the 5th round.

With my 4th pick I decided to go ahead and get a top player at weaker position this class. Once Parkinson went I wanted to go ahead and get one of the nation best. Mostly because through the years I waited on this role. Haven't a had a ate start period. Lol.

I tried man. I only got two (Skyler and mikeboss) and had to fill the other two spots with LSU guys. It ain't easy broseph.

I have deliberately avoided LSU players to not look like a homer. Lmao.

I'm trying to avoid our class as well...really like my dbs so far. Film room study is gonna pay off on my sleepers at other positions

I've had a few busts in recent years from USC. I think I'm steering clear this year.

With the 82nd pick, GCB selects:
Levi Draper, ILB, Oklahoma
Really athletic kid with a frame that could add twenty pounds with relative ease. This pick is as much about opportunity as it is ability. He's one of the few true middle linebackers currently on OU's campus thanks to LSU wrecking the #SoonerSquad17.

I almost picked an LSU guy once, but then he went 2 rounds earlier than I was expecting.

Speaking of LSU guys, the first player I ever picked in the RMD was Spencer Ware who blew up this year!

Draper is the best LB in this class(better than Browning and Moses). He would been my 4th round pick but I'm not too salty because I feel much safer about not getting my next 2 stolen. Now if they end up getting stolen too I will tucking lose ot

Good morning boys. Let's get this going again.
Fib said he would be around this morning but so far not so much.

Sorry for the delay guys. With the 85th pick, maybe a bit of a reach (and can't believe I haven't taken an offensive player yet), but Team FibonacciSquared selects
Robert Barnes - Safety - Oklahoma.
Too early to call, but this might be my steal of the draft so far. Top 30 player for 247 and Top 50 for Scout... Rivals and ESPN pushed the composite score way down here for my benefit.
6'3"+, 200 and I have a hard time putting it any better than 247 did in their review of the 5 "gems" of OU's class: "#1 - In Robert Barnes, the Sooners are getting a great cover safety that diagnoses plays well, is very instinctive and a violent hitter and vicious tackler." He's also got pretty great hands as he's played WR as well, though to stay balanced here, he looks a little awkward moving with the ball in his hands so I can only assume he was a possession guy.
Junior Highlights (First Int play at about the 0:52 mark, but the first two hits are brutal (damn near targeting to my eyes, but I'm watching on my phone).
Kid is an OU Legacy, so was never really in doubt that he'd go there, coincidentally, it looks like he's the only Safety they took this year... which is a surprise because they only have 4 on the roster right now, 1 a Senior and all 3 of the others are Juniors. He's likely going to be only an injury away from making an impact this year depending on how long the recovery from a broken leg in October takes. Worst case he's challenging for or taking a starting role next year depending on draft attrition.

Tate Martell QB Ohio State
Probably a bad idea, but he's going to a school that can make him look good, so I'll take a chance and go ahead and get my QB pick over

OBUDan selects:
Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
One of the best athletes in the entire signing class, Johnson could step into immediate playing time at Utah. Elite explosive skills on a 6'0 frame, this guy looks like a stud NFL corner to me and yet another 3 year starter.
