I would have taken him sometime in the first 10 rounds if he didn't have qualifying questions. I'm still surprised that he made it all the way through to the supplemental rounds. Oklahoma and USC pushed really hard for him, but he pulled a shocker and chose Utah to stay closer to home.

Noooooooo! Was totally snagging him. Brutal finish here for me. My Supplemental board has been decimated.
Just to confirm, still waiting for more of TPhan's picks before I'm up?

No he picked one and asked me to select the other one for him.
You're up.

Alrighty then. Here we go...
Max Gilliam, QB Cal
Interestingly listed as a Pro style on 247 but Scout's review is that he's a "true dual threat" quarterback. In looking at his film I see him as a guy who will slide around inside and outside the pocket but is a throw first, run second guy. Able to get good zip on the ball from multiple arm angles. I think he's got a lot of room to continue growing/developing, but should do well in the Bears offense. I expect him to redshirt this season probably, but likely emerge as the starter after this season.
Brady Breeze, S Oregon
This guy flew largely under the radar this recruiting season as he was a firm Oregon commitment and one of their "active recruiters" of the 2016 class. Some flirtations from other teams like Alabama, but he just was reluctant to go to other camps/visits. His film speaks for itself to me… great reaction time, great with the ball in his hands, also played some RB. Absolutely lays the lumber to ball carriers and blockers alike. High energy guy that will spread that to teammates and will likely find his way in a leadership role on the team, whether that's just unofficial in the locker room or more official as a team captain at some point.

I looked at breeze and passed but I honestly feel as a supp pick he was great value. Could have went any round after 15 and been considered a asian pick. Getting him this late is filthy.
