we haven't had a true first baseman since Will Clark. I've been watching all these small schools, and I keep asking myself, how can all these teams have true first baseman(big body, can smash the ball, and knows the position) but LSU(one of the greatest college programs in the country) can't get one.

Seem like our tendency has always been to recruit C SS and CF, then move guys around to the other positions.

I like deichmann at first. As long as they are tall and hit for power it really doesn't matter.

Apparently he has a ridiculous breaking ball. I wonder if he might be a red shirt candidate (I know that's rare for LSU). He's probably considered a short reliever, change of pace pitcher.

Huge news. Jonathan gettys was kicked off his high school team because he was arrested for dui. Interesting to see if CPM even lets him join the team if he doesn't get drafted LINK /

I get the feeling Gettys is a guy who goes pro or if he goes undrafted, go to juco a year. His brother was a second round pick in '14 I bet he wants to get paid too.

Why are you posting this on a recruiting thread? And yes Fraley is having a great year. He will go in the first couple rounds come draft time.
