2015 ATH Derrick Dillon

Why doesn't he have an LSU offer to date?
I know UF really really likes him as an ATH on the offensive side of the ball. Just seems odd that an athlete of his caliber doesn't have an offer from the home state school. I know he has been to UF several times, so I obviously hope UF has a legit chance.

He wants to play WR, but LSU likes him better as a CB. Questions about his hands and competition level. Several in-state kids are currently higher on the board at that slot WR/APB position. Will be worked out at camp on both offense and defense.

He wants to play offense but LSU likes Kirk Merrit more as an athlete on that side of the ball. I wouldn't be surprised if he got an offer at the summer camp.

Interesting. Really hope UF can pull him in the end for the slot.

I know he really liked lsu this time last year, so I hope the lack of offer doesn't put him off. I also see a camp offer happening, but will ultimately be a db spot. Thats where lsu wants their top athletes.

UF is his leader...he is dead set on playing slot receiver in college and LSU likely will not offer him there (want him at corner as others have said).

We're recruiting him as a slot guy as well from what I understand.

Is Lanard Fournette a take? Does he have an offer? How does he get an offer over Dillon?

In my opinion Dillon is better than Speedy Noil. That's not me being bias due to speedy going to the aggies I thought that long before speedy chose the ags. Same speed same cutting ability only difference is speedy went to a 4a power and Dillon goes to a small 2a school.

Lanard is coming to LSU. It was part of the reason LF went there.

D. Dillon is flat out explosive. Raw on both sides of the ball. But certainly not a gamble on either side. We gotta get him!!!

Lanard is going to LSU unless he decides he wants to go somewhere else, IMO

When Dillon shows he's the best wr in the country when competing side by side with the best wrs in the country then we can discuss him being better than Noil. Noil went to the Opening last year and was the best athlete there. Also is very natural catching the ball. Dillon has shown none of that yet. Dillon is an impressive athlete and has one of those "sudden plays" highlight tapes but he has shown none of that against kids with similar athletic ability and skill. Noil did. Maybe Dillon will show he is better but not yet.

I agree. He has sweet feet like Odell Beckham. Either side of the ball we have to get this guy!

So is him being in 2A a good thing or bad thing? I need to know.
