The fact that his transfer rules included "Could not face Houston in 2 years" makes me think he can play immediately. If he would have to sit, then it should say 3 years because he has 2 years of eligibility left plus possible redshirt.
I was thinking along the same lines. I'd like see the staff go after a graduate transfer to help fill the void at guard rather than forward though.

He's a SF/SG. He's better suited for the 3, but he's as much of a forward as Hammink was.

He's built like a tall guard at 6'7 195...his 3 point shooting did improve some from his freshman to sophomore year.
You never know, Stringer's 3 point shooting improved DRAMATICALLY after his first 2 seasons. This guy could shoot 35-36% next season from 3 quite easily...which isn't great by any means but it makes other teams respect that at least vs. some guys like Quarterman and Morgan lobbing up 20 and 25%ers

Are we feeling pretty good about our chances with House?
Honestly not sure, but Jones does have his connections to Texas and LSU has a large alumni base in Houston. Lots of positive things said about LSU there.
We can also throw him the bone that he can play with Ben Simmons which means scouts every single game. Lots of positives we can tell him.

Someone get this to Johnny. Another name out there, Antoine Mason, 2nd-best scorer in the NCAA last year behind McDermott. Graduated and has one year of eligibility
Antoine Mason
I would imagine his % numbers are low due to being on a team that went 7-26 and he was the only player to average in double figures

One of my favorite 90s players. You just didn't mess with him

Looks like House is working out with Gray and Hornsby per Brad Winton's twitter.
Posted on 5/22/14 at 1:52 pm to tigers32
Are you sure on Hornsby? I see a tweet where he is working out with Tristen Thompson and Josh Gray but not Hornsby.
Edit: I see Hornsby in the picture!
What is Hornsby doing in Texas?

Yep can't hurt to have Gray and Hornsby working on House. Hopefully, they can do a little recruiting if House is indeed a target.

You have to like our chances here. I am sure mom is lobbying for him to be in the dirty instead of Las Vegas. Plus we have a lot to be excited about

It's good news, but Louisville will be really tough to beat for Adel.

247 sports really likes Adel
What services have him so low he's a 3-star composite?

Rivals has him as a 3-star and ESPN as a 4-star. Not sure about Scout though.
