Well thats all disappointing.

Why? That things are done by the rules and not dirty? That someone out there actually wants to do things the right way? This is in no way disappointing for them.

Now, if you're solely referring to his guardian/handler (same person) being disappointing as a human being... I agree.

Its disappointing because the "rules" are going to be broken somewhere, probably have people lined up to break those "rules."

For those of you off of work, Ben Simmons plays at 2:30 on ESPNU...

Total stud.

You may need to make a new thread about it around gametime, I'm sure you would get a few more people to tune in

Big Jim has never, and will never pay for a player. It isn't his way and I'd put everything on it. They'll pay for the kids expenses when it comes to the team (which is 100% legal to do so) but they won't pay a kid/handler. Forget it. Wherever you heard this, make sure to let them know it isn't true as well.

There will always be talks but just know it doesn't happen here. Thon is a good kid but his handler/guardian/whatever wants $$$ and someone will give it to him. Unless he strikes out everywhere (yeah, not gonna happen) ... he won't be at Dunham.

I wasn't accusing him, just stating what I have been told from some pretty credible people. Don't know him personally and won't make accusations without real facts. But according to a lot of families around high school basketball, their program has gotten a bit interesting. Thon going there would have been nice though.

Saw him play last night on ESPNU versus White Station (TN). Dude is very athletic for his size.

I remember watching his 7th or 8th grade training vids. He seemed way smoother than any 7 footer, or any junior high kid, should be.

He's going to be really good. We aren't going to play dirty enough to get him.

Baylor, UNC, Duke, Arizona. He'll end up at one of them.

I figured Exum would go pro. I saw him in an All-Star game on ESPN last summer against the best of this year's college FR class and he stood out. He looked Jordan-esque.

I've seen a number of 2015 in state guys play so far and this is my take... I like Brandon Sampson and Chad Lott.. Both deserving of early offers in my mind..I think they are both wings at the next level. Melvin Frazier, despite being highly rated (espn), I think needs to show on the AAU circuit that he can consistenly knock down a 3 and handle the ball with pressure. He mostly plays inside for his high school team. He projects as a 2/3 at the next level. I could see him earning an offer down the road but as of right now I still think he has work to do. Those are 3 in-state guys I like right now. Top 3 prospects in the state imo. There will be about 8-10 kids in state kids for 2015 that go mid-high major.

Sorry if I read that wrong, but are you saying Ben Simmons will end up at Arizona when its all said and done?

Really dissapointing to hear if that is what you meant.
