LINK

When this moment happened, I would've never expected either player to have accomplished so little

Lots of recruiting busts in this game

eta: The video should be linked to the 24 second mark when Shep throws a TD pass to Debose.

I'm not sure what moment you're talking about so I can't tell which players you're referring to.

Assume it was Shep's bomb to Debose.

Ah. He is right about the amount of busts in that game though.

Roster

Some of the guys I've never heard of. Most of the ones I have heard of didn't pan out.

I wonder what the overall success rate for players in that game is. Be interesting to look at.

I linked the video to 24 seconds in when Shep throws a TD pass to Debose.

Unless it didnt work for you. When I click the link it works for me.

Shep hit Debose for a 90+ yard TD early in that game. Then he never threw a single pass at LSU.

what happened to Stavion Lowe?

anyway

quote:

Sam Montgomery, Greenwood (S.C.) 6-4, 220 pounds Junior accolades: Had 65 tackles (19 for loss) and 20 sacks. Named All-Region, All-Lakeland and All-State. Also All-Lakeland and All-Region basketball player. On his goals for his senior season: "Win a state championship and to help as many guys on my team as I can to get D-I scholarships." Favorite movie: "Sonic the Hedgehog." Scouts Inc. says: Despite playing only one year of football, he looks to be a natural. He has wonderful athleticism but also does the little things. His get-off and long arms could make him a menace off the edge. Has a ton of potential.

I remember us trying to get the "Seminole trio", they all never did much in college.

Jesus, a lot of guy I have never heard of and a lot of busts. Shows that you can never be too sure on certain recruits.

And the next play where Shep stumbles while scrambling and fumbles the ball...

Love me some Shep, big time. But QB was not his spot at this level. Would love to have seen him worked more like the Saints work Darren Sproles...

Yea, I really wish Shep could have lived up to the hype he had coming out of high school. I truly feel bad for him, because of the way he spoke about LSU and helped recruit guys to come here. Plus, I heard he is a really nice guy from some people that have met him.

But he still managed a better career than most of the WRs in that game.
