It's crazy how the coaches covet 1recruit, but just because 247 and Bama rank a kid higher than them we are going insane as a fan base.

Cause the PR Machine for Bama will go nuts. There will be articles declaring Alabama, the team to beat(Duh), and all the going into Louisiana and taking who they want. They'll have Simmons and all the others shouting it from the roof tops...Kid was a PR tool for them, and something to build on in La for 2016. Other than that, it means nothing, LSU will have great CB play, not worried about that....

People are upset that Carter lands at Alabama....yet....
in the end (if Fulton signs with LSU), LSU will be signing 3 CB's according to S/S......

I don't go to the Bama board because I'm afraid I might catch WTS (White Trash Syndrome, for those unaware) but I imagine every time you people freak out about this stuff you're just giving them a hard on.
In a way, though, Its kind of magical. These people that live in a dark, hopeless, place like Alabama get a glimmer of hope and joy in their otherwise shitty lives when a high school kid chooses their school (or team in most cases) over ours. Its almost like when they get the occasional LA recruit, its charity from the state of Louisiana. Be glad that we can give back in some way guys.

Lets not forget that we have one of the best prospects in CB history coming into the fold the year prior. We are going to be just fine.

It's a perception thing that can be spun that way. Do I see it as true loyalty,no, but it can be spun that way for certain demographics, who will quite honestly buy into it. It is what it is and could actually benefit us.

We lose top 10 in state recruits to Bama and every now and then to other schools but I can't remember our staff stealing a top 10 recruit out of Alabama. I look at the top 5 star recruits off of 247 and almost all will have offers from Bama no matter where they live but a bunch will not have an offer from LSU.
