Why is is that hurricanes bring out the leeches and vag's???

Everyone wanting a free this or money for that and people bitching about not having power for three days. The world isn't going to end because you don't have power for three days. Oh, and if you can't put away a few bucks a week to buy a generator, sorry.
Why is is that the people that aren't prepared are the ones that cry the most???

as a older guy, I have noticed with the advent of all this technology that people think the world revolves around them much much more than when i was "growing" up I guess

It's just frustrating that there are pod locations and people lined up to get free stuff in areas that aren't mandatory evac locations and don't have boil orders. Tap water isn't going to kill you. And You live in Louisiana, you didn't know you should have stocked up on canned goods?

You're right, I didn't lose power. I had my generator ready and gas tanks full. I had all the food and water I needed. I was prepared. I losst power for gustave for a week and I wasn't calling entergy and bitching. I just dealt with it. Yes, if your house gets destroyed I think the gvt helping you is a good thing. But if you're just not prepared, sorry.

I know, but the sooner you accept the fact that people are lazy and selfish the quicker you can move on. Chaps my arse too, but there's nothing you or I can do about it. Just do something that will distract you from thinking about it, that's what I do.

I have some friends in the Nat Guard that are in NOLA. One of them is running a water distribution line. One fine citizen gets to the front and asks "what are yall giving away" buddy replies "water" citizen "oh I don't need any water, I just saw a line and just got in, figured yall were giving something away."

Uh, I dont give a frick about people's houses under water, their problem not mine. I prepared for the power outage. what i am trying to say is dipshit is the grids ran in my subdivision makes no since. people across the street got power yesterday and i am still burning gas like its .89 cents a gallon!
