"Livin' it up in Central Louisiana!"

I know it's off topic, but I remember hearing that damn commercial every station break when I was a kid living in Alexandria. When I saw the Cenla thread, that was the first thing I thought of.

Be safe everyone.

I work at a hospital so there is no chance of us closing .

I just hope that we don't lose power.

Best part about me living 3 blocks from Cabrini, I never lose power during a storm. When Rita and Gustav hit I had power throughout both storms. I reckon it is because I'm on the Hospital power grid.

if a tree falls on the power line you're gonna lose power.....Cabrini doesnt have underground power to the hospital....there is a reason they have generators at the hospital as well...you've just been lucky dumbass

Oh yeah, you should be fine. I live in Good Earth so the chances are good that I will lose power atleast for a little while.

Lots of stuff still open in Cottonport. Gas, lumber yard, bank, pharmacy. No problems with electricity so far...

Wind is picking up a little in Ball. Went to Monroe yesterday and bought generator. About to go out, unbox it and set it up. Fully restocked my bar. Bring that bad boy on.

CLECO with a power generator on standby. I used to be able to get power restored rather quickly since the mayor lived right down the road. However, since Roy is now doing time down in Florida I decided it might be a good time to spring for a decent generator.

I lived on his street during a LONG outage. That did not help one bit.

Getting windy here on Jackson. The huge water oak outside is swaying a bit.
