With this strange storm movement, I don't think anyone can say. My bet is: yes.

My brother used to live on white street next to the police station. He never lost power in any hurricane in Alexandria including Lilly and rita

Yeah me too. I lived exactly a block from the police station on white st. I lost power during Ike for about an hour but that was it. White st. does flood though.

Is it suppose to be bad tomorrow in Alexandria?

I think it will be similar to Gustav sans really strong winds. Last time a lot of rain dumped on the city and overwhelmed some areas with poor drainage.

I expect something similar for tomorrow.

I lived on his street during a LONG outage. That did not help one bit.

It did me, I saw him a many of time working with the power folks at the relay station getting the front part of the road back on but those days are over.

I haven't heard anything yet. Everytime I try to look up the weather reports I keep getting conflicting predictions (which is understandable seeing how slow the storm is traveling) about when it will be here.

Windy and no rain in Leesville. Just doubled up on the squirrel food so as them to be ready when the power goes out. Should of cancelled school tomorrow.

Yeah I agree. I just can't see any of the local high schools being open here Friday. Who knows what this storm is going to do though.
