They were replacing a broken pole. They had to cut power to my house for about 2 hours. The wife bitched and moaned as if it were weeks. Power came back on around 1:30. I haven't checked to see if they cleared the trees on Swamp Rd. headed towards Perkins.

Power is back on here at the home. The pole broken at 621 and Rouyea has been fixed and we are good to go. 51 hour outage total. Not too bad. Spent $90 on fuel for generator to power the house for that long.

You live off swamp? Hopefully they got me up and running in Lake at Manchac.

Entergy power outage map shows it as on now. Was shown as off as late as 1:00 pm. Hoping that they are correct with the map...

Im off bluff road too. Theres still 2 trees that i can see on lines just north of c. Braud road. Any projections on this?

Wow I'm in lake Summerset with power. Thought I heard generators on the other side of the lake. Weird, hope we don't cut out soon. >.<

Lake at Manchac has power. There was still one tree down on swamp but they were clearing it. Some people still have their generators running. I guess they don't realize power is back on.
