Our fence blew down at 7. It was braced on our side but not the neighbors

Just did a little drive around old perkins. Bayou Manchac is the highest I have ever seen it. If it rains for another 24 hours then it may honestly cover the bridge. Across the railroad tracks water is very high. If the rain keeps up then it could go over the road soon. Never saw that, or even imagined it, as well. Quite a few trees down, and limbs are all over the road.

Prairieville is nearing the remnants of the eye. That is why it is a bit calmer. It will be short lived.

tropical storm allison covered the by 2 feet back in 2001 i believe it was. that was after days of rain like this. i was dumb enough to drive through it. felt my truck losing traction. stupid but i made it. had to get to work. hah.
