Im at 621 and 44 and the water jas gone down about 3 inches on my road the last 15 mins or so.....before that it was rising rapidly and the retention pond was spilling into the road, or shall i say "the levee was breached". Hopefully this slow steady will allow some of the water to get out before we get round 2 on the south east side

Depends the wind shifts so you can problems with down power lines throwing the poles the opposite direction

Checking in here,

I live off 621 and 73.

I have some flooding going on in the ditches behind me but nothing too bad since it has a drain to go into. A couple trees went down behind my house. They are both 3 stories tall, but it was expected. They were frail as hell and thus didn't take much to bring down.

I still haven't lost power at all. Not even a flicker..... Wow. Eatel is going strong like a mofo too. I have a feeling I won't be losing power at all which would be a first for me in a hurricane.

Entergy and Eatel....

I went for a swim in the pool. It was quite refreshing.

What, y'all thought the place I was at suddenly had 4 feet more water?

We've got several inches coming across the carport though. We took down the sandbags and made a channel.

You don't live in one of the homes on Cornerview huh? I drove by earlier and see that a few of them didn't think it'd be a good idea to throw up a few 2x4's to save their fence?
