Water over causeway in Mobile. Take the bayway.

the bankhead tunnel at the end of the causeway is closed. the wallace tunnel is still open.

power is out in Dauphin Island. went out this morning. Drove up to a friends house in Mobile and am staying up in the guest room above the garage. The power probably was gonna go out anyway in DI but some dumb arse got stranded on their sailboat. They were rescued but the boat hit a major power line afterwards so the power was cut off this morning. Just saw that on the news, what an idiot. There is an 8:00 curfew down there for those that are left.

Apparently some people don't have power in Mobile either according to the news.

Isaac is officially "getting his act together". It's just a little late.

I won't lie... I better lose power for at least a bit or I'm gonna be disappointed.

If it would have happened sooner, we would undoubtedly be fricked.

This marsh isn't going to hinder its intensification...lot of the water done there is plenty warm

ETA don't be shocked to see it jog back west in a few hours

Have an unconfirmed report of water coming over the Miss. River levee at Ft. Jackson, between Buras and Boothville.

Just saw about 5 military vehicles turn onto Bellaire Drive.

I literally just filmed 5 or so humvees rolling down Canal. Also just had the news right in front of our house filming some b-roll footage.
