I'm riding it out here in BR but I sent my wife and 4 month old baby up to North LA to my wife's parents. Better safe than sorry with a 4 month old plus he doesn't need to be here when the electricity goes out.

Watching Mitch's presser. What's the deal with Stacey Head's smug arse grin? Doesn't she know at least one person will die as a result of this storm?

Ol Mitch's signer is so intense. Her facial expressions are incredible.

What else can you do but laugh? God forbid you get away from the seriousness of the situation with a brief chuckle

I've been through enough hurricanes in my life, but I'll still chuckle at things that are obviously meant in jest. It's not like the storm will act any different if I don't take it serious enough.

that last jog looks to the north....but it looked like it was going west earlier....probably just continuing on its northwest movement

For fcks sake, people. These pictures are years old.

You whats funny is that none of those pictures are even hurricanes. Hurricanes dont look like that. Those are just super cell thunderstorms over water.

I don't know why they never bring this up until some official track tells them to.

Your disdain for the storm and those preparing for it gives me strength to overcome this struggle.

At this point I don't know what would be best case. I heard them comment that even though the NE side may not have the storms the wind is stronger so maybe due north would be best for SE La. Hoping its slow movements will weaken it once it moves on shore
