The worst thing about winning the 03 national championship was that we picked up a ton of white trash fans with extremely low IQ's, and now we have to see these people post on TD.

My apartment smells like a Bigfoot's nut sack after a three mile run. Things leaked out the freezer.

How long did you lose power for? Did you leave your freezer open or something?

I lost power for exactly one minute. Mine is usually the first to go out and the last to come back on. Thanks Entergy.

Damn you are suffering from some severe butthurt - why not march down to their offices on Pecue and go tell them how they should do their jobs if you're the expert?

We rode it out Ryno. I was thinking about leaving at early yesterday morning, but the wife was scared to death.

Man, I'll admit that I'm addicted to the internet, but seriously... it's a hurricane.

fricking deal with it. The world isn't perfect. Their map did a damn good job, but why on Earth would you think something like that is 100% foolproof?!

It doesn't matter that it wasn't raining or windy at your place when the power went out, obviously something happened somewhere to make it go out. So deal with it. Humanity hasn't even had electricity to the house for 200 years, I'm sure you can deal being without it for a few days. Be a man: start a fire, grill a steak, give your dog a bone, and frick your woman.

I've been without power for over 24 hours and I'm not bitching. You should know better than to leave raw food in your freezer with a Hurricane approaching.

Stop whining.

btw, where were you at CR where you couldn't just simply drive over to your place and see if you had power ? don't you know any of your neighbors ? -- i.e. call them and ask them if you have power in your area ? that entergy map was pretty good as was the demco map .. for statistics, but there was no way to gauge what individual residences had power or not on that thing .. i wouldn't have left it up to the map .. just clean the shite up, empty the freezer and move on ..

Folks, that map isn't accurate at all

OK. Well, for arguments sake, it was accurate for me. My street was one of 2 in Capital Heights that had power throughout the storm; their map was accurate in indicating that.

So now we're at 50% accuracy.
