Curious, do you still have water?

Just wondering if there's any way for you to clean the sand out of your vagina.

For Gustav, we assigned law enforcement with each crew. They keep the public away. It worked great.

I know it was a big problem after Katrina. People were told if they came back, there would be no infrastructure available and couldn't tell you when. But people came anyway, and it wasn't long before they started showing up at the local Entergy office wanting to know why the power wasn't on. Had to get Guard troops to send people away because it was causing a problem.

@Entergy Update: 74,000 more outages restored bringing today's total to 97,000. Thank you for your patience as we continue working to restore power.

97,000 in about 12 hours is pretty good.

If they lose a breaker, a circuit switcher, or damage to a bushing on a transformer, tough shite.

I'm proud to be in the select few in this thread that knows what a circuit switcher and xfmr bushing is. You mean Target isn't carrying an S&C 2010 circuit switcher?

probably quicker

they said once they get all the substations and transmission lines running, they will be able to restore on a much larger scale

sounds like as the day went on, that started to happen.

they did like 20k between 7am and 11:30 or so.

then 70k in the next 6-8 hours following that

I'm the biggest Entergy hater on this board apparently. Their master plan didn't seem to include hiring enough personnel. screw that joke of a company. If there were some real competition in BR, they'd run this market share down to Demco levels.
