Your best bets are going to be Perino's out off Causeway, Banting's in Bridge City, or The Plant Gallery in Metairie.
Charvet's in Metairie might be an option but i actually think they closed down. Not 100% sure though.
Make some calls and see. They can possibly order one for you as well.

I know nothing about Lime trees..There is a Key Lime tree in my yard..It was there when I bought my house. We had a freeze a couple of years ago and I thought it died but it came back and has fruit this year. Plenty of fruit. One thing I don't care for is that it has real big thorns.

limes and lemons i believe are the ones that have thorns

Bantings's will have plenty. Just across the Huey P in Bridge City.

Any of the options listed are good. The online places like Lemon Citrus Tree ship from Belle Chasse, so it's not like they're boxed on the truck for long. I have a 2 year old potted key lime that gives great fruit from Lemon Citrus Tree.
Do you want a particular kind of lime? Keep in mind that they are extremely cold sensitive.

So you obviously bring the tree indoors when it gets cold. How big is the tree and how big is the pot?

That guy is awesome, just bought a cherry tree and a blood orange from him this year.

Bought 2 of those cherry trees. They grow fast as hell. Mines producing cherries already. Planted in March maybe.

Mine is planted in the ground. I wrap it every few years when the temps get low enough.

Check your local Home Depot and Lowe's as well. I've found them for sale in the home and garden section. I've actually purchased citrus from them before and they have done well.

I had three Persian limes in the ground here in Baton Rouge. I had more limes than I knew what to do with. That harsh winter about 12 or 15 years ago, where it didn't get above freezing for a few days did them in.
Since I've kept them in pots. Used to bring them in. But now I wrap them and put the old school incandescent white Christmas lights all throughout the tree or just an incandescent bulb lamp with no shade in the center of the tree. Haven't lost any tree or even had damage.
Thanks for that link to the guy in Metarie. Now I gotta take a road trip and get some cherry trees and another lime.
I used to get my lime trees from Gordon Mees at Garden District Nursery but he's out of business now.

Bought a lime and satsuma from "...that guy in Metairie..." He's great. If you have an issue with the tree, take a pic, email it to him and he will try to help identify the problem. Nice guy to talk to, very knowledgeable.
