What's the best remedy to alleviate caterpillars and stink bugs from garden?

Anyone have a homemade concoction that works? I've tried Sevin, neem, organic, etc. but none of those seem to do the trick. Losing ALOT of tomatoes to these bastards.

BTK or a tonic of dawn soap, water, listerine and tobacco tea. And those are leaf footed bugs most likely

Sevin should work but I use Eight. Works great. Can’t get it at Home Depot but I buy it at Clegg’s. I’m sure there are others that work well also.

Liquid Sevin is rated for and supposed to kill stink bugs and leaf-footed bugs however, I haven’t found it to be very effective at all.
I like a permethrin, like High Yield Broad Use Insecticide. This is a cheap, effective insecticide,
